Dr. Allison Henry

Biography

Allison Henry is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Management and Organizations department at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She also serves as the Director of the Golub Capital Board Fellows Program. With a strong background in the private and public social sectors, Henry has previously worked as the Executive Director of the People’s Music School where she led strategic growth initiatives that resulted in significant institutional recognition. She has extensive experience in management consulting from her tenure at Bain & Company, where she advised Fortune 500 clients across various industries. In her academic role, she emphasizes experiential learning and prepares students for leadership in the nonprofit sector. Henry has been awarded the Sidney J. Levy Teaching Award for her excellence in teaching. Her educational credentials include an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Grinnell College. She frequently engages in curriculum development for courses that address nonprofit governance and social impact leadership, combining academic instruction with real-world applications for her students.
