Biography

Dr. Allison Thompson specializes in the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, and severe mental illness. She has been practicing at Stanford since 2008 and has a special interest in the treatment of underrepresented and underserved populations, particularly people of color. Dr. Thompson's clinical focus is Clinical Psychology. Her professional education includes a Clinical Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship from Stanford University School of Medicine, an internship at the VA Northern California Health Care System, and a PhD from Northwestern University.
