Allyson F. Creasman’s research interests focus on religious reform, confessional relations, social discipline, criminality, and early modern German cities. Prior to her academic career, she practiced law in Florida and earned her B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Florida. In addition to her book, her publications include articles on topics such as policing print culture in early modern cities and the sociocultural dynamics between the Virgin Mary and Jews in the context of pilgrimage.
