Canadian mezzo-soprano Allyson McHardy brings a distinguished international career and a deep commitment to vocal excellence as a member of the voice faculty at the Schulich School of Music. In addition to her opera highlights, she has collaborated with major symphony orchestras across Canada and internationally. Allyson is also a passionate advocate for Canadian art song and contemporary repertoire. Beyond performing, she has dedicated herself to teaching and mentoring young singers. Having served on the voice faculty at the University of Ottawa and returning to her alma mater, Wilfrid Laurier University, Allyson is committed to educating the next generation of vocal artists, equipping them with the necessary technique and confidence to succeed on today’s stages.
