Alp Sipahigil is the Ping and Amy Chao Family Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley, and holds joint appointments as a Faculty Scientist in the Materials Sciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and a supporting appointment in the Physics Department at UC Berkeley. He received his Ph.D. in Physics from Harvard University in 2017 and holds B.S. degrees in both Physics and Electrical Engineering from Bogazici University, obtained in 2010.
