Biography

Alpaslan Duysak is an Instructional Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. He completed his Ph.D. at the National Centre for Computer Animation, Bournemouth University in 2004. His research interests include computer graphics, focusing on deformation algorithms, haptic design, machine learning, and optimization techniques. Before his current position, Dr. Duysak held various academic roles, including a research assistantship at Bournemouth University in 1999. He also has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University obtained in 1997 and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical-Electronics Engineering from Gazi University in 1992. He is actively involved in advancing the field of computer graphics through both teaching and research initiatives.
