Biography

Altay Coskun is a Professor in the Department of Classical Studies at the University of Waterloo. He has a rich academic background, having completed his Habilitation, Ph.D., MA, and BA at the University of Trier in Germany. His research interests focus on Roman politics, legislation, citizenship, Roman imperialism, foreign relations, and the Hellenistic kingdoms, particularly the Seleucids and Attalids. Coskun is also an active reviewer for national funding agencies and renowned publishing houses, and serves on the editorial team for the journal Latomus in Brussels.
