Biography

Alvaro Sandroni is an adjunct professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996 and an additional PhD in Mathematics from the Instituto de Matematica Pura e Aplicada in Brazil in 1994. Sandroni has a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the Pontifica Universidade Catolica in Brazil, obtained in 1986. He has published numerous articles in reputed journals across economics, political science, and game theory, including the American Political Science Review and the American Economic Review. His editorial board roles include Economic Theory and International Journal of Game Theory. Sandroni has also contributed to the literature with co-authored work titled 'Managerial Statistics: Case-Based Approach', published in 2005. His research interests are concentrated in behavioral sciences, strategic forecasting, economic theory, game theory, political science, and general equilibrium theory.
