Professor Alvin Ing is a renowned medical professional specializing in Respiratory Medicine and serves as the Clinical Program Head of the Cardiovascular & Respiratory Program at Macquarie University Hospital. His notable contributions to the field include pioneering the use of endobronchial valves for patients with COPD and emphasizing interventional pulmonology since 1993. Professor Ing helped establish critical techniques such as endobronchial laser resection and stent deployment.
