Dr. Aman Ahluwalia Cameron

Biography

Aman Ahluwalia-Cameron is a social worker and PhD graduate in Social Work from the University of Windsor. She obtained her Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, specializing in Gerontology, and has extensive research experience. As a clinical social worker, she provides essential services to women and men affected by trauma, focusing on those impacted by systemic barriers in healthcare and community mental health settings. Aman’s research interests are in areas of social work, nursing, and psychology, with a current focus on structural stigma and access to social services for marginalized women. Her work aims to understand and address systemic barriers in care to improve mental health equity. She is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and actively participates in peer-reviewed publications and presentations.
