Dr. Aman Mittal

Biography

Aman Mittal is an Assistant Professor at Dell Medical School, focusing on areas including corneal transplantation, corneal cross-linking, refractive cataract surgery, complex cataract surgery, and laser vision correction. With extensive surgical experience, he completed his medical training at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California followed by residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He also completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute, University of California, Irvine. His clinical interests revolve around improving patient care through innovative workflows and health care technology integration. He has previously served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Dean McGee Eye Institute/University of Oklahoma, where he gained a broad spectrum clinical surgical experience and focused on patient-centered care. Mittal aims to impact the community positively through his work at Dell Medical School by addressing systemic health challenges and pioneering new standards in integrated medical care.
