Biography

Amanda Feldt is a PhD student at Linköping University specializing in early signs of skin damage related to medical devices. Her research focuses on the identification of biomarkers for detecting pressure-related tissue changes during non-invasive ventilation (NIV) therapy. She presents her work as a half-time PhD student while also being actively involved in clinical practice as a specialist nurse in the Department of Acute Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Linköping University Hospital. In addition to her research, Amanda teaches in the nursing program at Linköping University. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Medical Science in Nursing Science obtained in 2012 and a Master of Medical Science in Nursing Science completed in 2017.
