Dr. Amanda Fore

Biography

Amanda Fore is an adjunct clinical instructor in the Undergraduate Studies Program at the University of Michigan School of Nursing, where she also contributes to healthcare quality and patient safety research. She received her PhD from the University of Michigan in 2016, focusing on patient safety and quality improvement. Her professional experience includes roles such as Senior Manager of Clinical Quality Reporting, Clinical Information Analyst, and Nurse Coordinator. Dr. Fore has been actively involved in teaching nursing students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and has provided field training in patient safety and teamwork through her work with the Department of Veterans Affairs National Center for Patient Safety. Additionally, she regularly mentors nursing students at various academic levels, imparting her extensive knowledge in healthcare quality. Her research interests revolve around implementation and dissemination practices that affect human behavior within complex health systems, highlighting her expertise in human factors engineering and quality improvement research.
