Dr. Amanda Lindenberg

Biography

Amanda Lindenberg, MOT, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Concordia University Wisconsin and has further training from institutions including the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern. Her academic work involves case studies, textbook chapters, and manuscript publications focusing on inpatient rehabilitation. Lindenberg is committed to volunteer opportunities within adaptive sports, reflecting her passion for enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities. She actively participates in clinical education while integrating proactive measures to improve the healthcare experience for patients. Her clinical interests span a wide range of pediatric rehabilitation medicine, addressing brachial plexus injuries, adaptive sports, oncology rehabilitation, and more. Lindenberg's research centers on understanding obesity management in children with disabilities and improving therapeutic interventions within medical education. Through the collaboration with local organizations, she aims to expand her impact on both her patients and the professional community.
