Biography

Amanda Margolis is an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy. She has extensive experience as a clinical pharmacy specialist at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veteran’s Hospital, where she is involved in the centralized specialty medication management service. Her main research interests focus on improving pharmacy student learning and skills development through targeted educational interventions, as well as the implementation and dissemination of specialized medication management clinics within the Veterans Health Administration. Margolis has contributed significantly to the fields of interprofessional assessments of preceptor use and has assessed the impact of online course video engagement on course outcomes. She has a PharmD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtained in 2009, and an MS in Clinical Investigation from the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, which she completed in 2011. Additionally, she earned an MS in Social Administrative Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy in 2017.
