Biography

Amanda Masters, MHS, PA(ASCP), is an Autopsy Morgue Manager at Yale School of Medicine, where she has been since 2018. She is a certified Physician Assistant since 2009 and brings extensive experience in the field of autopsy pathology. Prior to joining Yale, Amanda worked in Surgical Pathology at Middlesex Health, where she was involved in grossing surgical specimens and performing autopsies. Her background includes experience at major medical centers and community hospitals, including the Mayo Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Connecticut. She has a special interest in autopsy pathology and enjoys teaching autopsy techniques to pathology residents during their advanced training. Amanda holds a Master of Health Science degree from Quinnipiac University, where she specialized in Pathologists' Assistant, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology/Molecular Biology from the same institution.
