Dr. Amanda Roze Des Ordons

Biography

Amanda Roze des Ordons is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary, where she is affiliated with the Department of Oncology and the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Pain Medicine. She completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Alberta in 2006, followed by specialized training in Anesthesiology at the University of Alberta, Critical Care Medicine at the University of Ottawa, and Palliative Medicine at the University of Calgary. Additionally, she holds a Master's Degree in Medical Education from the University of Dundee. Her research interests primarily focus on serious illness conversations and patient-family support in acute care settings. Outside of her work, she enjoys hiking and spending time with family and friends.
