Dr. Amanda Wang

Biography

Amanda Wang is a Clinical Associate Professor at Macquarie University and a consultant nephrologist with a focus on acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, hypertension, diabetic kidney disease, glomerular disease, and dialysis therapy. She is associated with several hospitals, including Concord Repatriation General Hospital, Ryde Hospital, and Northern Beaches Hospital, and practices privately at Macquarie University Hospital and Sydney Adventist Hospital. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as a clinical senior lecturer at both the University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney and is a senior research fellow at the George Institute for Global Health. Dr. Wang has completed prestigious fellowships including the John Chalmers clinical research fellowship and the National Heart Foundation postdoctoral fellowship. She has actively contributed to over 60 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has participated in several international randomized controlled trials. She is also a visiting professor at Beijing Friendship Hospital, affiliated with Capital Medical University in China, and has been recognized as a high-level foreign expert by the China Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs.
