Biography

Amanda Wilson is an international, interdisciplinary scholar with particular expertise in restorative justice, therapeutic jurisprudence, and criminal law justice. She has held various roles, including Director of PGR Studies and Co-Director of the Criminal Justice Network at the University of Warwick. Previously, she was a Marie Skłodowska Curie WIRL-COFUND Fellow at the Warwick University Institute of Advanced Study and Warwick Law School from October 2018 to October 2020. Additionally, Amanda was a Leverhulme Trust Early Career Fellow at Warwick Law School from November 2020 to October 2023, where she focused on innovative approaches to justice. Her current research interests span transformative and restorative justice frameworks, as well as moral psychology implications within the legal context. She welcomes enquiries from prospective PhD supervisees, particularly those whose research proposals align with her areas of expertise.
