Biography

Amaury Jean is a PhD student in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge. He is part of the CQIF group and is supervised by Professor Benjamin Béri. Amaury began his PhD studies in 2025. His research interests include collective excitations in closed SYK models and their relation to charge correlators in AdS 2 black holes. Currently, he is focusing on dissipative SYK models and the recoverability of quantum information.
