Biography

Amber Stephenson is a Professor of Management and Director of the School of Business Administration at Penn State Harrisburg. Her research focuses on how women leaders experience gender bias, health workforce organization, and professional identity. She has published in top healthcare management and general management journals including Health Care Management Review, Medical Care Research Review, and Harvard Business Review. Her work has received media attention from outlets such as CBS News and CNBC and has informed policy discussions with the European Health Parliament.
