Biography

Amedeo D’Angiulli is a Professor in the Department of Neuroscience at Carleton University, Canada. He received his PhD from Northeastern University in 2000 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of British Columbia in 2002. D’Angiulli previously served as an assistant professor at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver and held the position of Canada Research Chair (Tier II) at Thompson Rivers University from 2004 to 2007. He is currently cross-appointed as the Lead Scientist in the Neurodevelopmental Health Unit at the CHEO Research Institute. D’Angiulli's research is multidisciplinary, encompassing cognitive neuropsychology, developmental science, sociology, education, and educational psychology, with a focus on areas such as Learning Sciences and Human Consciousness. He teaches courses related to neuroscience and research methods, and his lab conducts extensive research on stress, nutrition, and metabolism.
