Dr. Amie Kawasaki

Biography

Amie Kawasaki is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University. She specializes in urogynecology and pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Kawasaki completed her medical education at the University of Miami, followed by residency training at Emory University and a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Duke University. Throughout her career, she has focused on improving patient care through research and education. She has delivered numerous presentations on topics such as fecal incontinence and common urogynecologic problems, and has been actively involved in various professional activities, including serving on the Membership Committee of the American Urogynecology Society. Her work aims to advance the understanding and treatment of pelvic floor disorders in women.
