Amine Mezghani received his Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, and his Diplome d'Ingénieur from École Centrale Paris, France. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2015 at the Technical University of Munich. Before joining the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Manitoba in 2019, he served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin and as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Mezghani's research includes millimeter-wave communications, massive MIMO, and hardware constrained radar communication systems. He has published more than a hundred papers, particularly in the areas of signal processing and communications with restricted analog hardware. He is also an associate editor for the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications and the recipient of several awards, including the 2021 IEEE Signal Processing Society Paper Award.
