Biography

Amir Sajjad Bahman is an Associate Professor at the Center of Reliable Power Electronics (CORPE) at Aalborg University, Denmark. His primary research interests focus on electro-thermo-mechanical modeling, packaging, and the reliability of power electronic systems components. He has contributed significantly to the field of reliable power electronics, working on projects that involve lifetime prognostics and physics-of-failure analyses of power electronic systems. Dr. Bahman completed his B.Sc. in Electric Power Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology in 2008, followed by an M.Sc. from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden in 2011. He obtained his Ph.D. at Aalborg University in 2015. His professional experience includes a role as a Thermal Design Engineer at Danfoss Silicon Power in Germany and a Visiting Scholar position at the University of Arkansas, USA. He is currently serving as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification and Elsevier's Microelectronics Reliability. Additionally, he leads the Reliability Power Electronic Components Research Group (REPEC) and coordinates the Danish Power Electronics Reliability Test Facilities (X-Power).
