Biography

Amir Goldkorn, M.D., is a Professor of Medicine in the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, where he also serves as the Associate Director of Translational Sciences at USC Norris. He received his Bachelor's degree from Harvard University and his Medical Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, followed by an Internal Medicine residency and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at UCSF. Dr. Goldkorn's research focuses on cancer biology, particularly in the areas of genitourinary malignancies and liquid biopsies. His laboratory is dedicated to developing therapeutic biomarkers and exploring the mechanisms that drive cancer plasticity and resistance. He has significant experience leading multi-center phase III trials and chairs the translational medicine initiative for prostate cancer research at USC. With numerous awards, including the Outstanding Investigator Award from the American Federation for Medical Research and the Merit Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Dr. Goldkorn is a recognized leader in his field.
