Dr. Amirali Baniasadi

Biography

Amirali Baniasadi is a Professor and Graduate Advisor at the University of Victoria in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Tehran University, followed by a Master’s degree from Sharif University and a PhD from Northwestern University. His research encompasses a wide range of topics in the field of electrical and computer engineering, emphasizing low-power design, power-aware architectures, VLSI interconnects, and high-performance processors. As a distinguished faculty member, he contributes significantly to the academic community and frequently mentors students at various levels, supporting their academic and professional growth.
