Biography

Amr El-Shalofy is a dedicated equine reproduction veterinarian and clinical researcher from Damietta, northern Egypt. After graduating with honors from Cairo University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, he pursued his passion for horses by earning a doctorate in equine endometritis from the University of Zurich in Switzerland. His clinical journey began with an internship at Paul Schockemöhle Stud in Germany, where he specialized in equine reproduction. Over the past nine years, he has built an extensive career teaching and practicing at leading universities and stud farms in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Belgium. His professional interests center on assisted reproductive technologies and infertility management in mares. Outside of veterinary work, Amr enjoys painting, biking, and spending quality time with his wife, Mona, and son, Anas.
