Biography

Professor Amy Brodtmann leads the Cognitive Health Initiative at the Department of Neuroscience, School of Translational Medicine, Monash University. She has previously served as a Professor at the Florey Department of Neuroscience and Mental Health at the University of Melbourne. As a Consultant Neurologist at Austin Health, she directs the Cognitive Neurology team and manages two Clinical Dementia Trials Units. She is honored with numerous awards, including the Mervyn Eadie Award from the Australian and New Zealand Association of Neurologists. Professor Brodtmann's research interests are closely aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on improving cognitive health and understanding brain aging in Indigenous populations.
