Biography

Amy L. Burkert is a Teaching Professor and Senior Vice Provost for Academic Initiatives at Carnegie Mellon University. Her research focuses on the molecular etiology of disease, with extensive experience as a postdoctoral fellow where she directed a multinational research project on occupational asthma at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden.
