Biography

Amy joined the University of Glasgow in January 2022 as a Lecturer in Marketing. Before joining the Adam Smith Business School, she was a Lecturer in Digital Marketing at the University of Stirling. Amy completed her PhD in Marketing at the University of Strathclyde, along with an MSc in Marketing and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology at the University of Stirling. Her research and teaching interests include digital marketing, services marketing, consumer behaviour, and consumer culture theory. Amy is currently working on several projects specifically exploring influencer marketing, consumer communities, and the role of socialbots in consumer vulnerability. Her work has been published in the European Journal of Marketing and the Journal of Services Marketing, and she has secured funding from the Academy of Marketing Research Council.
