Biography

Amy Lo is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at Stanford University. She is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, as well as Molecular Genetic Pathology. Amy earned her MD and MS degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Northwestern University, where she served as a Clinical Instructor and Advanced Gastrointestinal/Surgical Pathology Fellow. Amy furthered her training with a fellowship in Molecular Genetic Pathology at Stanford University. Since joining Genentech in 2016, she has worked as a research pathology scientist focusing on oncology and individualized drug development. In addition to her research role, she actively participates in clinical practice at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital, contributing to pediatric pathology services.
