Professor Roebuck joined the University of Illinois College of Law as an adjunct professor in fall 2018 and became a lecturer in spring 2019. She has extensive litigation experience in both private and public sectors, having started her legal career in 2001 as a securities litigator at the San Diego office of Cooley Godward LLP. During her tenure as a securities litigator, she worked at Fish & Richardson P.C. and Morrison & Foerster LLP, handling a variety of cases including informal inquiries and formal enforcement actions from the Securities Exchange Commission, internal investigations, and class action litigations.
