Biography

Amy Walker is a Conjoint Lecturer with a Ph.D. awarded from the University of Wollongong in 2016. She is an ACPSEM certified medical physicist currently working in a Research & Development role at Liverpool Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centres. Her academic journey began with an undergraduate degree at the University of Wollongong, where she also completed her Ph.D. focusing on the impact of MRI geometric distortion on radiotherapy treatment planning. Her research interests continue to evolve in the area of MRI utilization and deformable image registration as it pertains to the adaptation of radiotherapy treatment methodologies.
