Biography

Amy Warren started teaching at the Faculty of Business in 2003, focusing on Human Resource Management and Labour Relations. She received the Dean’s Teaching Award in 2012. Dr. Warren completed her PhD at Saint Mary’s University in 2009, and her research interests include retirement, multi-generational workplace dynamics, health and safety, and goal setting. Currently, she serves as the principal investigator of a SSHRC standard research grant titled “Bridge Employment: Multi-Focused Analysis.” Dr. Warren has published in prominent journals such as the Human Resource Management Review, International Journal of Manpower, Human Resource Development Quarterly, and Career Development International. Additionally, she has presented her research at national and international conferences including those hosted by the Academy of Management, ASAC, and Work & Stress IFSAM.
