Ana Rusu is a Professor and leader of the Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuits Systems Group at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Division of Electronics Embedded Systems. She received her Diploma Engineer (M.S. degree) in Electronics Telecommunications Engineering from the Technical University of Iasi, Romania in 1983 and her Ph.D. in Electronics from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania in 1998. In 2006, she became a Docent in Circuit Theory at KTH. Over her career, she has held several roles, including Director of Doctoral Education and Vice-FA at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Her research focuses on energy-efficient low/ultra-low power circuits, biomedical wireless communication applications, energy harvesting, and hybrid spintronics-CMOS systems, among others. She has authored and co-authored more than 150 international publications and served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Letters until 2022. Ana has successfully supervised numerous PhD students, guiding them through their academic paths and towards careers in notable companies.
