Dr. Anan Du

Biography

Anan Du is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UNSW Canberra, specializing in the development of deep learning models for wildfire spread prediction. He received his PhD degree from the University of Technology Sydney in 2023, where his research focused on advanced methodologies in deep learning and scene understanding. He collaborates with renowned researchers including Dr. Maryam Ghodrat and Professor Jason Sharples to push the boundaries of machine learning applications in environmental science. Anan's areas of expertise also include 2D and 3D scene understanding and weakly-supervised learning.
