Biography

Anand Joshi is a research associate professor in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Southern California. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electronics from Shivaji University, followed by a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology-Kanpur. He continued his education at USC, where he obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2008. Dr. Joshi has previously worked with Siemens and Sasken. He also completed postdoctoral training at the Laboratory of NeuroImaging, UCLA. His research interests are focused on brain imaging, geometric methods, deep learning, and machine learning.
