He serves as the medical director of the Clinical Flow Cytometry laboratory, overseeing operations to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of high-complexity diagnostic tests. Dr. Lagoo's translational research interests include correlating flow cytometric, cytogenetic, and molecular findings in acute myeloid leukemias and studying morphological changes associated with non-conventional treatments in myeloid and lymphoid neoplasms. He has also investigated the spectrum of lymphoid tissue involvement by plasmacytic and plasmacytoid cells.
