Ananya Jahanara Kabir is a Professor of English Literature at King's College London, having previously taught at the University of Leeds before joining King’s in 2013. Kabir has received prestigious awards, including the Infosys Prize in Humanities and Germany’s Humboldt Research Prize. Her research interests include Creolization in Atlantic and Indian Ocean worlds, Afro-Asian solidarities, decolonial thought, and memory studies, among others. She actively engages in curatorial programming and has made significant contributions through her speaking engagements and public outreach work.
