Biography

Anarina Murillo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at Brown University. She earned her PhD in Applied Mathematics with a Certificate in Statistics from Arizona State University. Her research interests encompass statistical applications in chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and asthma, along with studies on infectious diseases and health disparities. Prof. Murillo has been recognized as a fellow in programs such as the NIH NHLBI PRIDE and the University of Pennsylvania's Center Improving Care Delivery Aging (CICADA) Scholars program.
