Biography

Anastasia Mantziou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Warwick. She has previously worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate on economic networks and transaction data projects at the University of Oxford, supervised by Gesine Reinert and Mihai Cucuringu. Prior to that, she served as a Research Assistant at the Alan Turing Institute, focusing on statistical cyber-security under the supervision of Nick Heard at Imperial College London. Anastasia holds a PhD in Statistics from Lancaster University, where her research was supervised by Simon Lunagomez, Robin Mitra, and Paul Fearnhead. Her research interests broadly lie in statistical analysis of networks, specifically in Bayesian model-based clustering of network populations, time series analysis of networks, and applications in emerging scientific fields such as neuroscience, ecology, economics, and computer science, particularly in human tracking systems. Additionally, she has worked on Bayesian topic modeling applications in cyber-security.
