Biography

Anastasie Dunn-Pirio, MD, is a board-certified neurologist at UC San Diego Health specializing in general neurology disorders, multiple sclerosis, and neuroimmunological disorders. She has a keen interest in the neurologic complications associated with cancer and cancer therapy. Dr. Dunn-Pirio's research includes publications on rare demyelinating disorders, explaining the critical role of myelin sheath in nerve fibers. Dr. Dunn-Pirio actively participates in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Neurology and the Society for Neuro-Oncology. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending quality time with her family, including her golden retriever.
