Dr. Anastasiya Kizima

Biography

Anastasiya Kizima's career focuses on strategy, innovation, and financial technology across the globe in both private and startup sectors. She began her career in New York investment banking, where she found her passion for innovation. Over time, she transitioned her focus to financial technology, developing and implementing new company-wide systems and products aimed at process improvement. Currently, Anastasiya is the Global Head of Ecosystem Partnerships in the Group Innovation Office at Barclays in London. In her prior role, she set and managed innovation projects, creating proof of concepts and pilots to test the viability of implementing emerging technologies within the bank. Anastasiya also served as the Head of Rise London, where she oversaw the London Fintech ecosystem for Barclays. In her current position, she collaborates with various areas of the bank to help define their respective strategies and leverages insights to build meaningful global partnerships that drive collaboration and open innovation for the development of future solutions. A frequent keynote speaker on financial technology and innovation in financial services, she also mentors with the Oxford Women Business Network and is passionate about leveraging technology for financial inclusion, notably developing platforms to improve financial education for women. Anastasiya earned her MBA from the University of Oxford and holds a BA degree in Finance and Economics from Pace University in New York. She was recognized with the TechWomen100 Award in 2022, celebrating the top women in technology in the UK.
