Dr. Anastasiya Luban

Biography

Anastasiya Luban is a Lecturer in Architectural Digital Design at Manchester School of Architecture. She is a core member of the Architectural Digital Design team, contributing to the development and implementation of the school’s Digital Strategy. Her work ensures a constructive alignment with the DELTA framework, focusing on creating an inclusive, technology-driven learning environment. She is a passionate advocate for inclusive pedagogy, fostering a creative learning environment that empowers students to explore diverse methodologies to address issues such as digital poverty. As the Visualization Lead, she specializes in guiding students to develop advanced architectural communication and representation skills, emphasizing the seamless integration of analogue and digital techniques. Her diverse software expertise, combined with an artistic foundation, enables her to guide students in effectively communicating ideas while exploring innovative solutions. Anastasiya has extensive experience in both practice and academia, covering areas such as analogue model making, digital fabrication, and various CAD tools. She holds a PGCE-HE qualification and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). She teaches at Foundation, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate levels across multiple disciplines, including Architecture and Interior Design.
