Biography

Anchal Sareen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the University of Michigan. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University in Australia. Before this, he completed his Master’s degree in Fluid Mechanics from École Polytechnique in France. Professor Sareen's research primarily focuses on developing innovative flow control strategies that enhance the efficiency and maneuverability of unmanned underwater and aerial vehicles. He also works on improving the performance of bio-inspired propulsion systems and augmenting the harvesting capacity of renewable energy systems.
