Anderson Mora received his BSc in Psychology from the Catholic University of Bogota, Colombia. He has several years of experience working in clinical neuropsychology. In 2008, he began his MSc at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence in cognitive science. His master's thesis focused on decoding imaginary limb movements for brain-computer interface (BCI) applications. After returning to Colombia in 2010, he taught at several universities for 1.5 years before entering a doctoral program. In 2012, he enrolled in the Biomedical Science Doctoral School of KU Leuven at the Department of Computational Neuroscience, where he conducted research in natural language models for BCI. By 2014, he continued his PhD in Amsterdam at the Universiteit Brain & Cognition department, working on his thesis about implementing visual techniques (SSVEP) in the study of psychophysiology and spatial-temporal attention. Anderson joined Erasmus University College in 2018 and has since leveraged his extensive teaching experience and passion for academia to contribute positively to the educational experience.
