Dr. Andisheh Ranjbari

Biography

Andisheh Ranjbari is an Early Career Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Penn State University and a member of the Larson Transportation Institute. He holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, an M.Sc. in Transportation Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, and a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from the University of Arizona. His research areas include Transportation Engineering, with specific interests in Public Transportation, Shared Mobility, Urban Freight, Curbside Management, Travel Behavior Analysis, and Transportation Network Modeling. Ranjbari has contributed to various journal articles and conference proceedings, examining significant topics in transportation science and policy. He has received multiple accolades for his research contributions, including recognition for highly downloaded publications and awards from the Transportation Research Board. Ranjbari actively engages in service activities at the university and within professional organizations, focusing on enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in transportation engineering education and practice.
