Biography

Andjeas Ejiksson is an artist, filmmaker, and translator based in Stockholm, Sweden. Ejiksson's artistic practice explores ideologies and imaginaries linked to established cultural and political transitions, as well as the processes of translation. He engages with editorial and textual formats, as well as performance and moving image. In addition to his work as an editor for cultural journals, he has conducted research at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm, the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht, and is currently holding a research position at HDK-Valand, University of Gothenburg. Recently, Ejiksson has been involved in an exhibition project centered on the history of children’s television, collaborating with eleven artists and writers. His work has been exhibited at Fabrika Moscow, Kalmar konstmuseum, Bildmuseet Umeå, and Mint Konsthall in Stockholm.
