Biography

Dr. Andre Weissheimer is the Clinic Director of Orthodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and practices at the Harvard Dental Center in Cambridge. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the Edward H. Angle Society. With training in both Brazil and the United States, he completed his education at the University of Southern California. Dr. Weissheimer specializes in aesthetic treatment, digital orthodontics, CAD/CAM technologies, cone-beam computed tomography, 3D superimposition, biomechanics, and customized appliances. He is a co-inventor of the InBrace appliance and has authored over 40 publications, book chapters, and patents. In 2024, he received the Angle Society Award for Difficult Case Excellent Finish, which was presented internationally for his work on treating asymmetries and skeletal anchorage.
